The Nogg is a modern chicken coop

It's number 1 on my must have list when we move! The Nogg is a modern chicken coop that has been designed in the shape of an egg. Urban chicken keeping has become a growing trend, and The Nogg is designed to house 2-4 chickens in an aesthetically pleasing coop to compliment any garden. If I ever wanted to raise chickens again, this would rock.

Spring Time And Self-Watering Planters For Starting Seeds

It’s spring and time for everything green around you! If you plan to grow something like flowers or vegetables and it’s still cold outside, start growing it in your home, using these wonderful self-watering planters not to waste time and not to forget to water the plants. For this project you’ll need 2 liter bottles, potting soil, seeds, thick string or yarn (either cotton or poly seems to work), a Phillips screwdriver, hammer, and a sharp blade to cut the bottle. It’s a simple craft and great for starting seeds. Just repurposing some plastic bottles is a great idea, and a detailed instruction ihere.

Growing bean plants in CD cases. for kids

2busybrunettes Site Post a great Article about Growing bean plants in CD cases. for kids.

Here what you will neet :

1. The hinges of the CD case should be at the top. That way you can stand them up and dirt won’t fall out. Also this leaves a nice hole at the top for watering the plants with droppers.

2. Plant your bean high in the soil. If you plant it toward the bottom the roots will grow out the bottom!
3. Tape the bottom shut. This will keep roots from growing out the bottom, and curious fingers from opening the case.
4. Use masking tape and permanent markers to label whose plant is whose.
5. Plant your bean with the concave side down. It should resemble the letter “n,” not the letter “u.”
